What does the daily schedule look like?

While we do not have an official schedule for Refuel yet, a typical day at camp looks like this…

Rise and shine

After breakfast, the students have a morning session of worship and teaching before diving into some amazing activities like zip lining, a rock wall, and more.

Do all the things

After lunch, the students enjoy another round of activities before dinner, and then they have an evening session of teaching and worship.

Unwind and reflect

Students have a bit of free time before bed to hang out or do other low-key activities, and then it’s lights out so they can be ready for another great day!

Parent FAQs

Will there be a parent meeting before camp?

There won't be an in-person meeting, but an informational video and email will be sent to all parents before camp.

If you still have any questions, you're always welcome to ask Ryan or Kay-Cee.  :)

How does my student get to camp?

We charter buses to transport all students and volunteers to Camp Cho-Yeh.  The buses will leave and return from Gateway Community Church.

Check-in will be at Gateway on November 22 at 5pm, and pick up will be at Gateway on November 24 after second service (around 12:30pm).

Where will they sleep?

Camp Cho-Yeh offers dorm style lodging, and rooms will be assigned at a later date.

Students will need to bring bedding for their bed (a sleeping bag and pillow work great for this).

Do I need to send money for meals?

No, all meals are covered in your camp cost.

Snacks and merchandise are available at the Trading Post, so students may bring cash for that if they'd like to.

If your student has specific dietary needs, the camp will make accommodations as needed.

If you have any additional questions, please email Ryan or Kay-Cee.
