Our mission is to provide a safe Christian environment that encourages positive self-esteem, meets individual needs, and develops the "whole" child through lots of learning, laughter and love.

The Ark Children's Center is a Christian preschool providing quality education and values to supplement a child's development at home. We are committed to teaching recognized, age-appropriate curriculum consistent with standards established by TEKS and God's word. Our goal is to show God's love through hands-on activities that encourage physical, mental, emotional, educational, and spiritual growth.

The Ark offers classes during the school year starting at 6 weeks old through age 5. During the summer, the Ark's Summer Program serves children from 6 weeks old to 5th grade. Inquire about current openings by contacting us at ark@gateway.cc or click here to schedule a tour of our facility.

Faith Focused

Biblical truth is woven into our daily learning through prayer and Bible stories. Children attend weekly chapel days with age-appropriate worship and teaching, reminding each child that they are deeply loved by God.

Research-Based Curriculum

Our classrooms use Frog Street Curriculum to provide intentional, engaging lessons that nurture the whole child and prepare them for kindergarten success.

Scheduling Options

Our school day begins at 9 AM and ends at 2 PM, with options to attend 2, 3, or 5 days.
We offer optional early arrival and late pickup programs, available for the year or as needed.

Stay Connected All Day

Keep up with your child's day and communicate with their teachers and administrators through the ProCare app.

This role serves as the first point of contact for families, children, and visitors, managing front office operations, responding to inquiries, supporting daily administrative needs, and assisting the Preschool Director. The ideal candidate can balance office responsibilities with meaningful interactions with children and families while helping create a warm, nurturing, Christ-centered environment.

The Assistant Teacher supports classroom activities and helps maintain a Christ-centered, safe, and nurturing environment. This role assists the teaching team in promoting each child’s growth, learning, and well-being.
