The Shadow You Cast

On this Mother’s Day, we reflect on the powerful and lasting influence a mother’s life casts over her family – her “shadow.” In Acts 5:1-16, we see two contrasting shadows: the shadow of deception that brought judgment, and the shadow of faith that brought healing. This message invites us to consider the legacy we leave behind, the values we pass on, and the spiritual atmosphere we create in our homes. Just as Peter’s shadow brought life and restoration, so too can a mother’s faith, integrity, and love become a shelter and blessing for generations to come.
