Take a look at what to expect...

What does the daily schedule look like?

A typical day at camp generally looks like this…

Rise and shine

After breakfast, the students have a morning session of worship and teaching before experiencing amazing activities like zip lining, hiking, and rock climbing.

Do all the things

After lunch, the students enjoy another session of teaching and worship and then face off in some team games.  In the late afternoon, they dive into water activities like kayaking, swimming, and water slides.

Unwind and reflect

In the evening, the students have dinner and a last session of worship and teaching before having some small group time.  Then they relax and hang out before it’s lights out so they can be ready for another great day!

Parent FAQs

Will there be a parent meeting before camp?

Yes, we will have a parent meeting, and the date will be announced as we get closer to camp.

After completing Gateway's registration, parents will get a link in the confirmation email leading them to Camp Eagle's online forms -- these forms are where you'll let the camp know about any dietary or medical needs, as well as other information.  Please complete Camp Eagle's online forms before Gateway's parent meeting.

How does my student get to camp?

We will travel by charter bus from Gateway to Camp Eagle.  Students should bring some cash for a meal at Buccee's, both to and from camp.

Check-in and pick-up will be from the Warehouse at Gateway, and the exact times will be announced later.

All camp sessions and activities are on-site at Camp Eagle, so we will not be transporting students through the week.

Where will they sleep?

Camp Eagle offers dorm style lodging, with guys and girls in separate rooms.

Students will need to bring bedding for their bed -- a pillow and sleeping bag OR sheets and blanket.  (Sleeping bags are preferred because it's easier for set up/tear down.)

What should they bring?

We will hand out a packing list at the parent meeting, but if you'd like to get an early idea of what Camp Eagle recommends you can click HERE to view their faq page.

Students may also want to bring some spending money for use at the camp store, or you can set them up with Camp Credit when you fill out Camp Eagle's online forms.

Do I need to send money for meals?

Yes, but only for the meals traveling to and from camp on the charter bus.  At Camp Eagle, all meals are included in the registration fee.

If your student has specific dietary needs, the camp will make accommodations as needed. You notify Camp Eagle of these needs by listing them on the camp's online forms.

If you have any additional questions, please email Kay-Cee.
