Conference FAQ

What:

The goal of GWC is to bring women of Gateway into a shared experience that not only teaches, encourages, and inspires, but more importantly, binds us together as family, showing each woman she is accepted and loved. She belongs.

When:

8am - 4pm Saturday, April 25

Where:

Gateway Community Church, 760 Clear Lake City Blvd, Webster, TX 77598
*Come in through Entrance 5: go past the playground, and enter under the covered walkway, where you will see a check-in station and receive directions

Schedule:

8:00 - Check-in opens at Entrance 5
Light Breakfast, Prayer Room & Market Available

9:00 - Programming Begins
Worship, Keynote Speaker, Breakout Session 1, Lunch, Market Open, Breakout Sessions 2 & 3, Worship, Communion

4:00 - Goodbye!

Food:

We are serving a light breakfast, snacks, and lunch from La Madeline. All will include gluten-free options. If you have detailed dietary needs, feel free to bring some of your own options. For more info, email Meghan at m.bionat@gateway.cc.

Childcare:

There is no childcare for this event.

Workshops:

You will get to choose 3 workshops to attend during the conference, and can choose them that day, except wreath making or door hanger making, which you must choose and pay for when you register.

This year’s workshops include the topics of: testimonies of faithfulness, Radical Acceptance Theory (building a life built on God's truth vs the assumptions and illusions of the world), and wreath and door hanger making.

Registration:

Cost:

The conference is $44, which includes light breakfast, lunch, snack and all content.

We work hard to keep your cost as low as possible. We cannot refund payments, but you are welcome to transfer your registration or deposit to someone else. Make sure she registers, so we can be ready for her. We will help with that process (email Mariel - mgodeaux@gateway.cc).

Scholarships:

If you need confidential financial help to attend the Conference, please email Meghan, m.bionat@gateway.cc. We don’t want money to keep anyone from attending this gathering. We will ask you to join in by serving on a team at the Conference if you are able.

T-Shirts:

Our T-Shirt is a Bella Canvas Unisex Short Sleeve Tee in a Heather Blue Lagoon. Shirts are $15 and available to purchase during registration through April 3. You will receive your shirt during check-in on Saturday.

Prayer:

Our Conference Prayer Team is already praying, and as soon as you register, will be praying for you by name. Prayer partners will be available throughout the Conference.
